MIRROR, MIRROR ON THE WALL...

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

-Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962)

Humans are visual creatures.  That is reality.  No “body” is perfect.  That is reality.  So what do we do?  Plastic surgery, endless diets, or spend a fortune on the latest cosmetics?  No!!  The answer is love what you’ve got!!!  Make the best with what you were given.  I promise you if you look in the mirror and hate what you see your issues are below the surface.  Clean up the mess inside and the outside will fall into place.  Eyedelon believes beauty is simple.  Focus on your strengths and others will also.  Don't try to change things just enhance them.  Do you have a great smile?  Flash it.  Do you have that hair everyone wants?  Let it flow.  Try sitting in a public area and watching people.  No one has it all, but everyone has something.  Look for your something and use it.  As for the rest, make the most of it.  Take care of the "temple."  Eat healthy foods, exercise, sleep, wash, stand up straight, and smile.  Women should be and feel beautiful and sexy.

Just remember what you do today will affect your tomorrow.  Is estrogen causing cancer or is it your laser hair removal or the tanning beds?  Is cancer in your genes or is it the Botox?  How will those whitening agents or veneers affect your teeth in 20 years?  These new beauty treatments are just that - new.  No one knows their long-term effects.  So keep it simple, stop looking at the magazines, the television, and the movies.  You are real.  Enjoy yourself.

*Warning - you may be appalled there are "real" naked women here.  No touch-ups, airbrushing, etc.  Just reality.*

Amanda Koster is an artist in Seattle and the above link is her wonderful art exhibit.  Eyedelon applauds her efforts and joins her in condemning advertisers everywhere.  How dare you try to make us, our daughters, sisters, mothers, and friends grow up thinking that we are not visually worthy.  It stops here because I see.
