IT AIN'T MY MESS, I'M NOT CLEANING IT UP!!!
"We think sometimes that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty. We must start in our own homes to remedy this kind of poverty. "
- Mother Teresa
Do you care? Or would you rather turn away? You think the easiest thing to do is ignore certain painful situations, but really humans are innately empathetic. It is harder to try to not feel anything than to allow your natural concern to surface. Child abuse, poverty, pollution, crime, rape, theft, starvation, drug companies, insurance companies, advertisers, animal abuse, litter, smokers, or big business, what is it that makes you feel? Go with that. If each one of us individually go after that which really makes us hurt, imagine the difference it would make. Take a stand. Educate yourself. Educate others. Find your passion and do something about it. Every cause has a voice and every voice has a cause.

The first website is for the younger generation with a little section for the old folks. Great place to start getting into action. The next is a site with links to aggressions against children. Even if you cannot find the time or energy to pursue a cause, just being a responsible citizen and good neighbor could do wonders. We are all in this together. We are not at war with each other. Why can we not work together to help each other smile? It ain't gonna kill ya. Do something good today. Pick up some trash even though you didn't throw it, put your cart in the cart return, let someone in traffic go ahead of you, smile and say hello. Here is the key - I make a difference because I care.
